Originally from Laredo, Texas and classical saxophone beginnings, Jerry worked his way through academia garnering a Masters in Jazz Studies. now he continues that path directing the Jazz Ensemble at the University of Texas at San Antonio while playing gigs all over Central Texas. He is a 10MFan and Tenor Madness artist.
