A world-class musician, composer, arranger and educator, Diego Rivera is known for his muscular tone and unique blend of straight-ahead mainstream jazz fused with music inspired by his Latino background and heritage. He is new director of jazz studies at the University of Texas. Trumpet great, Mike Sailors, will be joining Diego.
Glenn Rexach, Steve Zirkel & Steve Summer will lead Jazzmanian Devil with Tomas Ramirez inspiring the pack back.

Michael Mordecai has been hosting his Monday Night Jam since 1980. When the Elephant Room opened in 1991, the JAM found it's permanent home in the basement. Many Austin Jazz greats cut their teeth at this unassuming Monday night hang where "the old pro's and the young lions mix licks". You just never know who might show up or what musical jam moment might spark the next cool collaboration.
Milan plays trumpet and flugelhorn. He began his career in Portland, OR in 1986 at Mt Hood Community College. Over the years he has performed in both small ensembles and big bands, and has performed with jazz artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams, Dick Shearer, and many others. Milan now leads his own small group for public and private events.
At 13 Mitch started playing guitar with a surf band in McAllen, Texas. Years later he's traveling the world on multiple tours with Leonard Cohen. You're gonna want to hear the sounds that have endeared this master guitarist to so many and who Jazz Times Magazine calls "a man for all musical seasons".
